Norne Legacy conducted a comprehensive digital remastering based on conservative archival principles.
Selective artifact management: Reduction of scratches, dust and visual interference while preserving the original grain structure and photographic texture.
Image stabilization: Correction of frame instability to improve structural coherence.
Audio restoration: High-fidelity cleaning and stabilization of the soundtrack to enhance speech clarity without altering the original acoustic character.
Documented reversibility: All digital interventions were recorded and designed to comply with long-term archival standards, ensuring transparency and methodological traceability.
This project represents the fifth collaboration between Norne Legacy and Ciné-Archives, contributing to the progressive digital preservation of historically significant documentary materials within an institutional framework.
