1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to those same websites on your next visit. They make the site work, remember your choices and, in some cases, collect information about how the site is used.
We use the term broadly, so as to include similar technologies such as browser local storage.
2. Technical cookies — always active
These are necessary for the website to function and to record your choices. They do not require consent under Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ccwps_consent | Stores the choices you made on the banner, so they can be honoured without asking again on every page | 6 months |
ccwps_version | Records the version of the consent configuration, so consent can be requested again if something changes | 6 months |
_icl_visitor_lang_js | Remembers the site language requested by the visitor | 24 hours |
wp-wpml_current_language | Keeps the selected language during browsing | Session |
cf_clearance, __cf_bm | Set by Cloudflare in connection with the anti-spam check on the contact form, to tell human requests from automated ones | Up to 30 minutes |
3. Statistics cookies — only with your consent
These help us understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful. They are installed only after you accept the “Statistics” category on the banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Generates a random identifier to distinguish visitors | 2 years |
_ga_ZV6XK4T8NC | Keeps the session state for this specific measurement property | 2 years |
_gid | Distinguishes visitors over the course of a day | 24 hours |
_gat_gtag_* | Limits how often requests are sent to the service | 1 minute |
4. What we do not use
This website has no advertising or profiling cookies, no social network pixels, no retargeting systems and no tools that reconstruct your behaviour across third-party sites. We do not share data with advertising networks.
The pages embed no third-party videos, maps or widgets: links to Vimeo and to our social profiles open those sites in a new window, where the relevant providers’ own notices apply.
5. Managing your preferences
From the banner
On your first visit you can accept all cookies, reject them all, or choose by category. Your preferences can be changed at any time through the dedicated icon on the page, which reopens the preferences panel.
From your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that disabling technical cookies may break some website functions, such as remembering your language.
Google Analytics opt-out
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the opt-out browser add-on available for the main browsers.
